Hi guys here is new Custom ROM for samsung galaxy y  Shared by Xda Member tom411 It's a rom ported from galaxy pocket.This rom has got a great xperia user interface. Now it's in daily usable stage, everything works So,Have a look Some Screenshots Running ExplodeY Custom Rom on our Galaxy Y GT-S5360.

This Custom Rom is only meant for Samsung galaxy y model gt-s5360. Use it at your own Risk we will not be held responsible for what ever happens to your device.                            How to Flash :

o Download the explodeY-Final_1.zip & CWM.zip and Place on your phones SD card


o  Then you have to  flash f(x) Kernel {How to Flash f(x) Kernel Here}

o  Then reboot in Recovery mode By pressing Volume up + power button + home button.


o  Go to mounts and storage and format system,data and cache

o  Go to advanced and wipe dalvik cache

o  Then Go back and select install zip from sd card... then choose zip from sd card then choose the explodeY-Final_1.zip from sd card.....

o  Then select wipe data then yes wipe data.

o Reboot now

Note : It takes more time to first boot! don't panic just wait.

How to Flash:

o Download the Hyperion_plus.zip & CWM.zip place in root directory of Sdcard

o Reboot in Recovery mode by pressing vol up+home+Power button together once you enter recovery mode touch screen become function-less so use volume up and down to move up and down, home button for selection and power as back button.

o Now in recovery mode select "apply update from sdcard" and navigate to the root directory of sd card and select cwm file "cwm-madteam-galaxY.zip" this will take you to clockworkMod Recovery.

o Now select "install zip from sd" and then choose Hyperion_plus.zip and select yes.

o Reboot

Note: there are different files for armv6 and 7 phones

New Added in Version 1.1

o Added Indicator (Ics style)

o Some Ui improvements for the ex dock so that it fits nicely with indicator.

Features of Version 1.0

o Added a Menu to Browse Pictures, Music , Video , Widgets inside the launcher

Installation instructions:

How to Flash:

o Download xxx.zip & cwm file and place in the root directory of your phone's sd card and turn your phone off.

o Reboot in Recovery mode by pressing vol up+home+Power button together once you enter recovery mode touch screen become function-less so use volume up and down to move up and down, home button for selection and power as back button.

o Then go to mounts & storage second last option in cwm then select mount & storage then mount system

o Now in recovery mode select "apply update from sdcard" and navigate to the root directory of sd card and select cwm file "cwm-madteam-galaxy.zip" this will take you to clockworkMod Recovery

o As now you are in cwm mode select install update from sd card and Select the update file select "xxx.zip" and ok let the process to be completed.

o Now Reboot Device.

Alternative install : 

1.Extract the Lib.rar (attached) you will see two folders inside it Armeabi and armeabi-v7a 

2. If you have an Armeabi-7 mobile you should copy the three lib files inside the folder lib/armeabi-v7a to system/lib Via any root explorer

3. Change permission to R w -

4. If you have an armeabi6 phone you should copy the three lib files inside armeabi folder to system/lib via root explorer and change permission
